• IF Henry Hicks was under the impression he was being pursued by police, as suggested at his inquest, why did he not just simply stop? (Hicks family: Justice has still not been done, October 27).

The police maintain he was not being pursued so whatever scenario is used I cannot see how the police can be blamed for his death.

I think any fair- minded reader examining your report will come to the conclusion that the verdict of the misconduct panel was a correct one.

Just because someone is killed does not mean that someone is to blame.
