THE Holloway Road branch of Marks & Spencer is to shut its doors for good on June 8.

Labour leader and Islington North MP Jeremy Corbyn met the supermarket’s bosses in June last year to try to keep the store open.

This week, the chain announced a 10 per cent drop in profits compared to the previous year.

A sign outside the Nag’s Head store says the nearest M&S branch is in Archway. The M&S foodhall by Archway station is due to open this month.
