• I WOULD like to bring to readers’ attention the need for questions to be raised towards Islington Council’s head of children’s services and Councillor Joe Caluori in relation to young people overdosing and drug dealing by outsiders at Islington-commissioned children’s hostels paid for by taxes.

It is a scandalous waste of limited public cash, and the council is begging the government for more. I trust these matters will be investigated, so the truth about services can be discussed.
