If they’re going to rename streets in the capital…
Thursday, 25th February 2021
• LONDON’S mayor, Sadiq Khan, is keen to purge unfortunate names from the capital’s streets and sundry places.
This will be brought about by the good offices of his newly established Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm.
Meanwhile there has been great concern expressed about the fearful fate it is believed has been suffered by Princess Latifa, daughter of an Emirati ruler.
In light of this might the Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm press for the renaming of any street, square or building named in recognition of the Emirates?
A bit of soul-searching from one or two leading politicians required?
