• IN response to your question regarding the selection of a Labour general election candidate for North Islington, following the rejection of our present MP, I would like to make the following comment.

Some seven years after I moved into North Islington, there was a general election in 1983 and a new Labour candidate for the constituency. I decided here, at last, was a Labour candidate I was happy to vote for as my MP.

I have never had a moment of regret and will vote for Jeremy Corbyn for as long as he continues to stand as my representative in parliament.
