POLICE have named the man who died while at work on the Edmonton incinerator construction site last month.

Ioan Sabou, 50, was in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle on the Edmonton EcoPark building site on November 23.

Emergency services were called but Mr Sabou died at the scene.

Councils in north London approved works for a new, larger waste-burning incinerator last year.
