• THE recycling waste for the block of flats where I live in Archway was not collected this week.

Having alerted the council I was told it would not be collected until next week, meaning that two weeks’ worth of rubbish will have accumulated for a block of six flats.

We should be concerned if densely-populated Islington is trying to sneak in fortnightly collections. Nor should residents be punished if refuse collectors fail to do their job properly.
