Claudia Webbe

A councillor and newly elected MP has been charged with harassment.

Bunhill ward councillor and Labour MP for Leicester East Claudia Webbe will appear at Westminster Magistrate’s Court on November 11.

She is accused of carrying out harassment against one woman from September 2018 and April 26 this year.

Cllr Webbe was elected as MP for Leicester East in December last year. The Bunhill by-election to replace Cllr Webbe as councillor is delayed until May 2021.
