Geoff Woolf is applauded by staff at the Whittington as he finally leaves the hospital

• THANK you for your report on the survival story of Geoff Woolf and his successful battle with Covid-19, (After 127 days Geoff beats the virus, August 7).

Geoff has been a member of Islington U3A since 2017 and a member of our Art in London and our bird watching group. We had wondered about Geoff when we didn’t see him for some time.

We were all so glad to hear that he was off ventilation, released from the Whittington, and on the road to recovery. All at iU3A wish him well and hope to see him back soon.
