• I WANT to thank the Tribune and your journalists for keeping the paper going during this rather horrendous crisis.

The Tribune is the paper I look forward to every week for your excellent reporting on local news. I also appreciated the recent article you invited from Jeremy Corbyn.

On the subject of our Member of Parliament, I was shocked to read about the leaked report with allegations about a campaign by some Labour Party officials to vilify Jeremy Corbyn and among other accusations to suggest he allowed anti-Semitism to run freely through the Labour Party.

Those of us who have known and voted for our MP for over 30 years have always known this to be a disgraceful lie and I regret that the person who should now be our prime minister was put through such an appalling ordeal.

In the fine tradition of Tribune’s investigative style I hope you will be following the details of these leaks and encourage North Islington voters to demand an inquiry into any lies that were spread about our Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party.
