SIR Keir Starmer’s speech on Wednesday was described as “strong political leadership” by the chair of the Jewish Labour Movement.

Mike Katz said the Labour leader had implemented the EHRC’s recommenda­tions with “rigour” and “pace”, adding: “Labour today is thankfully unrecognisable from what it had become under Corbyn.

“The JLM welcomes the EHRC giving the party a clean bill of health.”

He added: “Jews can once again call Labour their natural home and have no concerns about voting for it.”

The group has opposing views to Jewish Voice for Labour which argues that Mr Corbyn has been unfairly treated on the issue.

Mr Corbyn also had said that the EHRC recommendations should be swiftly implemented.
