TREE activists in a protest camp in Highbury won the right to appeal against a possession order from the council on Wednesday.

Islington wants to fell trees at Dixon Clark Court to make way for new housing.

It has pledged to plant new trees elsewhere but the legal battle continues with a new hearing next week.
