POLICE are investigating after a man was shot in Angel on Monday morning.

Officers were called to the scene in St Peter’s Street just after 7am, where they found man in his 30s with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to an east London hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He is expected to make a full recovery, a Met Police spokesman said. There have been no arrests. The police investigation continues.
