Police name man killed in Christmas day stabbing

A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death on Christmas day.

The victim has been identified by police as Claudius Francis.

Officers were called to an address on Holloway Road on Sunday afternoon where they found Mr Francis suffering with multiple stab injuries.

Emergency services attempted to save him but Mr Francis, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s family has been informed. A post-mortem exam gave multiple stab wounds as his cause of death.

Amar Nafazy, 55, has been charged and will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday).

Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating.
