A MAN in his 30s suffered “life-changing injuries” after a hit-and-run in a quiet garden square in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to Barnsbury Square just before 3.30am to reports of a man seriously injured following a collision with a car.

The man was taken to an east London hospital.

The car was left at the scene, with the driver and the other occupants fleeing on foot.

No arrests have been made.
