First, they should read the Highway Code.

Too many don’t care. They go through red lights and if you say anything you get “two fingers”.

Bike lanes – well you might see one or two while the roads are blocked with cars.

I have just come out of hospital after having a new hip and the other day went out for the first time.

And what happened? A cyclist went over a red light as I was crossing the road. He did not care.

But that is not the first time. One almost went into our car – but no apology. Nothing!

And some say “poor cyclists”. Poor nothing. They don’t care – and I am not the only one to think that.
