• WHITTINGTON Hospital wants young men to do the most selfless act and donate sperm (Change lives, become a sperm bank donor, March 24).

All we hear is how bad men are and how the world would be better off without them. But men deserve respect.

They are okay to go on the frontline in war but then seem only of use as donors to sperm banks. It is time men got the same respect as women and equal treatment.
