Eric Gordon with Rabbi Mendy Korer

• IT was very touching to read about Eric Gordon’s life and achievements, (Eric Gordon: Tributes to Camden’s great chronicler as founder and editor of CNJ dies at 89).

I recall meeting him at the Islington Menorah lighting a few years ago. I found it particularly inspiring to read about Eric’s pride in his Jewish identity by placing a Mezuza on his front door.

In his memory, Chabad Islington would like to offer any Jewish people in Islington wishing to emulate Eric to please get in touch and we would gladly assist in placing a Mezuza on your front door.
