A minibus has gone missing from outside a centre for disabled young people leaving parents and users distraught.

Staff members at Centre 404 in Camden Road arrived to work on Thursday before realising the essential transport vehicle was missing.

The green van is used daily to transport children and young people with a learning disability or autism to after school clubs.

It was also used to deliver shopping to service users with mobility issues and to those who are shielding.

Parent Iba said: “It terrible to steal our bus. It’s going to make our lives difficult. It’s a disgrace. It makes our lives easier, especially parents.”

Zainab, Lameen’s mum, said: “It’s nice to see on the road. As a mother of a special needs child, it makes me happy to know that it’s a special bus for our special children.”

The vehicle number plate is GX14 DWE. For more info contact Centre 404 on 020 7607 8762 or email general@centre404.org.uk
