A MOPED rider in a critical condition in hospital after a crash with a van in Canonbury.

Police were called to Dove Road, off Essex Road, at 5.12pm on Wednesday to reports of a van and moped in collision.

The moped rider, a 25-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The Met Police said he remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

His next-of-kin have been informed.

The driver of the van stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.

Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who has dash cam or CCTV footage of the crash.
