Some countries are now experimenting with de-anonymising donations; some children who learn they have a biological donor take steps to track down the donor’s identity to satisfy their curiosity or because they develop health issues.

In many cases, wanted children bring blessings but if a child gets into trouble or becomes trouble then lack of a biological connection often tells.
