Natural grass is better than using toxic materials
Friday, 13th March 2020
• GIVEN that Islington has declared a climate and environment emergency, their plan to inject Tufnell Park with 19 million strands of plastic into what is currently a natural grass playing field does not seem like a sensible move.
While the investment in schemes to encourage health and fitness is to be welcomed, surely these goals can be achieved without the use of nine tonnes of toxic materials?
