Overflowing bins and Islington streets full or rubbish
Friday, 24th February 2017
• SINCE the inauguration of the “dedicated team” on February 6, residents of N1 2LZ postcode area of Canonbury have not had their refuse collected, resulting in overflowing dustbins, a common sight throughout the borough.
Despite several phone calls to the council nothing has happened and no one has yet explained the problem, which is obviously very serious as they are now not even collecting the recycling.
Where have the binmen gone? The streets of Islington are full of rubbish with bags torn open by animals, resulting in the refuse being strewn everywhere.
