AS our new politics video channel goes from strength to strength, we’ve been asked why we hadn’t taken the camera and mics to a Conservative-held constituency.

Challenge-accepted, we headed to Radlett village in the deputy prime minister Oliver Dowden’s constituency on Friday to test the water. While some residents were wavering, the general opinion on the high street among Conservative voters was still that the Labour Party could not be trusted with the economy.
