Police appeal for help over knife row at Highbury and Islington tube station
Online footage shows altercation at Victora Line stop

POLICE are appealing for information after a video showing a man brandishing a knife during a row at Highbury and Islington tube station on New Year’s Day went viral.
The footage, shared on Facebook and viewed nearly 200,000 times, shows a man holding a knife then a fight on a Victoria Line platform shortly after 6am on Monday.
British Transport Police (BTP) said a 51-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon. A knife was recovered. The man has since been released under investigation. In a statement, BTP said: “Officers are working hard to establish the full circumstances leading to this incident.”
