A HOMELESS outreach charity erected the first of many pop-up museums outside Highbury and Islington station yesterday (Thursday) to mark what would have been the start of the annual Streets Fest festival.

The Museum of Homelessness, run by founders Jess and Matt Turtle, is currently looking for its own permanent home, and has said it will continue the pop-up exhibitions weekly until it finds its own base.

Exhibits on display were donated by homeless people or someone who works in the homeless sector, with each item carrying a story about life on the streets.
