HIGHBURY Green Party councillor Caroline Russell sat in the road this week to launch two weeks of protest outside the east London venue hosting one of the world’s largest arms fairs.

At Excel Centre on Monday, Cllr Russell (pictured on the left) joined Greens from Hackney and Croydon – and a Dalek dressed as an arms dealer – in the spot where armoured vehicles and weapons will be delivered for Defence and Security Equipment International, which starts September 9.
