The Election 2017

Soon the chance to voice,
Your political choice,
It’s a different type of game,
As the outcomes don’t have to be the same,
The Tories will tax and save,
for “The Many” a shallow grave,
For the “Few”,
Privatised profits the sky is true blue,
The Tories will axe the school dinner,
Will that produce a loser or a winner?
I hope the sun shines in winter,
As pensioners are being offered a splinter,
Fancy being old,
And forced to be cold?
If I look at the National Health,
It is crumbling and collapsing with stealth.
The numbers of police,
They seek to fleece.
Labour will tax and spend,
Austerity they seek to end,
Battered by the manufactured press,
Is this the rich as they caress?
Sneers and smears,
As they spread fears.
Unless it’s Labours bad news,
Then all day they will sing the blues.
So Red or Blue,
Which colour shoes for you?
Not Green or Yellow,
As that’s a Tory friendly fellow, [Splitting the vote]
Red or Blue?
Remember On June 8,
It’s your vote that decides their fate.
