A MAN was knifed this afternoon in Finsbury Park, police believe.
The Met was called to reports of a robbery outside Finsbury Park Station in Seven Sisters Road at about 1pm today, where officers found a man in his 20 suffering from “superficial knife wounds.”
Paramedics attended the scene.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We sent two medics in cars and an ambulance crew to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre.”
The wounds are not believed to be life-threatening, a police spokeswoman said.
Seven Sisters Road is closed eastbound at the junction with Station Place and traffic is slow-moving, according to Transport for London.
There have been no arrests.
