SANTA and his helpers handed out gifts to a packed community centre lunch this week.

More than 100 people sat down to tuck into a festive feast at St Luke’s, near Old Street, on Wednesday.

Adorned in Father Christmas hats and paper crowns, the over -55s party saw singing, dancing, and even a raffle.
