Pupils from Thornhill get involved

PRIMARY school pupils have taken part in a running challenge to raise money for charity.

Pupils from Thornhill Primary School, Canonbury Primary School, Drayton Park Primary School and Laycock Primary School took to the parks and pavements to run 2km to raise funds for the Run Kids Run charity.

Over the summer, a challenge will be launched to run 2km, donate £2 and then nominate a friend to do the same.

Run Kids Run, which aims to encourage children to become more active, started in Thornhill Primary School, in Thornhill Road, Barnsbury, and is now in its third year following ongoing support from Islington Square and others.
