Starmer and Corbyn

‘If he believed in honesty and justice, Sir Keir would give Jeremy Corbyn the whip back and get on with the job of being a leader of the Opposition’

• MANY thanks for your excellent article about the leader of Islington Council Kaya Comer-Schwartz, (Town Hall leader: ‘Racism left me feeling worthless, July 29).

Although the article was excellent, I was infuriated by a quote from Sir Keir Starmer in the last paragraph.

It was when he mentioned the Forde Report on BBC Radio Merseyside and talked about “how dysfunctional the Labour Party was under Jeremy Corbyn”.

He failed to mention how the Forde Report examines an attempt to sabotage the general election in 2017 by right wing forces in the Labour Party.

If he believed in honesty and justice, Sir Keir would give Jeremy Corbyn the whip back and get on with the job of being a leader of the Opposition; but no, he wants to remove all left wing Labour MPs from the party.

He just proves that he is just as bad as Boris Johnson. The truth is Sir Keir is the best leader that the Tories never had.

The public has to know how unfit Sir Keir Starmer is and I hope there will soon be a leadership challenge so that we, the members, can bring the party back to what it should be like, a party of fairness for all and not another supporter of big business and tax dodgers like the Conservative party is.

Labour should be calling for an end to the privatisation of the National Health Service and the renationalisation of the gas, water, electricity and railway industries.
