AN annual day of solidarity for those experiencing homelessness is returning to Finsbury Park next week.

On Thursday, September 4, the park will host dozens of stalls – from legal, housing, refugee and substance-use advice services to chill-out zones, barbers, pet care and health screenings, all to support people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Streets Fest will also feature music, talks and spoken word.

Organised by the charity Streets Kitchen, this will be the eighth year of Streets Fest, which is held in collaboration with Islington and Haringey councils, the Museum of Homelessness and other support charities.

Streets Fest is on the Haringey side of Finsbury Park, inside the gates near Manor House station and will take place between midday and 5pm.
