Hanover Primary School nativity, with its angels, wise men, camels and sheep
BUDDING actors were making their debut performances across Islington this week, as children took to the stage for a host of festive shows.
Duncombe Primary School performing their winter show
Year 1 pupils at Hanover Primary School in Angel were dressed as angels, sheep, camels, and wise men to perform the traditional nativity, complete with singing and perfectly co-ordinated choreography.
Meanwhile, children in the reception class and nursery at Duncombe Primary School in Holloway donned superhero and princess costumes for a more unconventional winter show.
Set in locations that included Superhero Land and Santa’s Grotto, the children searched for a gift that rarely tops a four-year-old’s wish list – a ladder.
All is revealed by the end, when the audience discover the girl wants to find the ladder so she can rescue her brother’s kite which has been stuck in a tree.
