Station victim has ear bitten

A MAN suffered a “nasty injury” to his ear after it was bitten during an attack at Highbury and Islington Tube station.
British Transport Police officers, who were called to the station just before 11pm, have appealed for witnesses. The 34-year-old victim was taken to hospital.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Gerry Hughes said: “If you were in the station at the time or witnessed the altercation between two men then please get in touch as soon as possible. Your information could be vital to our investigation.”
A 25-year-old man from Islington was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and released by police pending further inquiries. He is due to return to a police station on March 2.
