Appeal for witnesses after 14-year-old boy was hospitalised

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old boy was hospitalised in an assault in Whittington Park on Wednesday.
Met officers attended the scene where he was being treated by the London Ambulance Service, before being taken to hospital.
Police attended the scene at 6.55pm on Wednesday 8 April and cordoned a section of the park off. His injuries have been confirmed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
No arrests have been made since the incident. Enquiries continue, and police have called for witnesses or anybody with information to call 101, quoting CAD 6887/09Apr.
