• FURTHER to the letter concerning Thames Water by Gillian Dalley, (Thames Water works have been ruining people’s lives, June 11).

We appreciate road works can be disruptive and have worked hard to minimise the impact of this important project, which will protect and improve the water network in the area.

We set up a dedicated web page at the start of the project which is regularly updated, and have also sent out several letters to residents in the vicinity to keep them informed on the progress of the work, most recently on Thursday June 3.

Our work site in Seven Sisters Road will be removed by mid-July, though we will be returning to the area in September for a further phase of works which is due to be completed by the end of October.
