• REGARDING the proposed Barnsbury/ Laycock LN, liveable neighbourhood, readers will understandably be shocked to read of the “£11million+ the council has allocated to this LTN [sic]”, (A ‘liveable neighbourhood’ means more traffic for some, October 13).
Thank goodness it isn’t true, any more than the alleged stand-alone £5million consultation cost, asserted by a neighbour at a recent local residents’ association meeting.
Your correspondent Louise Howitt clearly has deeply-felt concerns about the proposed liveable neighbourhood, but if she wishes her arguments to be heard, she should check this…
