They’ve had three-and-a-half years and still failed to deliver Brexit

• PEOPLE crave political leadership, not uncritical surrender to a policy that is damaging the country.
To those like Labour’s David Cheeseman (A second referendum will not bring unity, May 10) who use “democracy” to argue against a second, people’s vote, the Brexiteers have had three years to deliver Brexit and have failed. How much longer do they want?
To say no to a second vote is like Mugabe, Maduro or Erdogan gaining power on a free vote and then going cool on further democracy. It’s called dictatorship. Enough is enough.
