• IT’S distressing to hear that Peabody’s policy of selling off individual properties it owns in Islington continues just at a time when the borough’s housing situation is so dire.

Auctioning off properties one by one, simply diminishes the huge benefit that it will be bringing to people in desperate need of housing with its development of the prison site.

Surely Peabody should think again?
