Open letter to Jeremy Corbyn

• MY dear Jeremy,

I am a Labour supporter and want you to stop, now, being such a godsend to the beleaguered Conservative party.

I am not one of those who regard you as a flatulent old buffoon, long past his political and ideological sell-by date.

You are, however, roughly my own age. And this late stage of our lives is usually regarded as a period for quiet reflection, and honest introspection.

Please ponder. And stop helping the Tories.
