Mick Lynch
THERE’S lots to watch on our new online channel.
Peeps, named after the long-running political column in our sister paper, Camden New Journal, allows us to take our independent, campaigning and award-winning journalism beyond our traditional borough boundaries. In doing so, we hope to open up debate and discussion, and talk to people who are not always included in the national news agenda and mainstream media.
You can find all the films at www.youtube.com/@peepsonline.
This week’s uploads include interviews from the AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park where campaigners talked about their fears around the uncharted waters tech firms are now wading through.
Look out too for our chat with the RMT’s general secretary Mick Lynch during which he talks about what he thinks a Labour government will mean for the UK.
There is also debate on the fairness in policing in London, and you can see our interview with one of the founders of Just Stop Oil.
It costs nothing to watch and free to subscribe to.
And you can also leave your comments under each film to take part in the debate.
