To boldly go where no doggie has ever been before
Sci-fi festival comes to Finsbury Park

FURRY companions are being invited to don their most out-of-this world costumes and compete to be crowned the top dog as the Sci-fi London Film Festival comes to Finsbury Park next week.
Pets, and their owners, can draw inspiration from previous years’ pups who have been draped in outfits from iconic sci-fi favourites like Star Wars, Back to the Future, Superman and Doctor Who.
The competition, which has been running for over eight years – and is likely to be fierce – is to be judged by TV presenter and Drag Queen Bunny Galore.
The annual festival stretches over four days at the Picturehouse in Finsbury Park, and will feature screenings of sci-fi fan favourites such as Matter of Time and The Strange Dark. Expect aliens, androids, and adorable dogs in equal measure.
If you fancy more dog action — prior to the Sci-Fido pet cosplay parade there is the chance to watch a special dog-friendly screening of Digby, The Biggest Dog in the World, directed by Joseph McGrath, which tells the story of an old English sheepdog who eats growth formula, escapes, and has wild adventures across the country.
