Too early for panto outfits? Oh, no it isn’t!
Adults-only version of Cinderella is dubbed the naughtiest pantomime in London

IS it too early for the panto costumes? The cast of an adults-only version of Cinderella don’t care about that – they are used to breaking the rules.
Dubbed the naughtiest pantomime in London, the actors who will star in Sinderella at the Scala in King’s Cross were meeting for the first time last Monday. It follows the success of a raunchy run of Snow White. This year, Sinderella has no money, no man and none of the glamorous life she claims to be living – until, one day, she meets Prince Donkey Dick in the woods who invites her to his ball… and you can fill in the blanks from there.

Pantomime veteran and the show’s director Simon Gross, who plays one of Sinderella’s ugly step-sisters – or in this case, the “ugly slappers” – said there would be “party songs, all your favourite bangers, bags of audience participation and dazzling costumes”.
The cast will be led by drag personality Regina Sparkles as Sinderella. They have been performing drag for eight years and started in musical theatre before launching a drag career with support from The Prince’s Trust.
“Growing up, Cinderella is a very petite, lovely, beautiful princess; I’m a 7ft man in a wig. The whole concept of it is completely bonkers,” she said. It opens on December 19.
