• MY visit to Highbury Fields on Whitsun bank holiday was spoilt by toxic smoke caused by fires on the fields.

The Fields should be a healthy place for public recreation not to be abused by a few. Islington Borough Council should revoke its policy of allowing fires there and restore it to a safe environment for all.
