PLANS for a new trampoline park have been put on hold because of the general election.

The site at the Sobell Centre is needed as a “counting centre” for votes on June 8.

A spokesman for Greenwich Leisure Ltd, which runs the centre, said: “At Islington Council’s request, it has been decided to delay work on installing the trampoline park until after election day.

“GLL and Islington Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
