Trib’s front pages after Arsenal title triumph hawked on eBay
Copies of paper have begun appearing on the online trading platform
Friday, 3rd July

YOU could perhaps call it entrepreneurial, others might instead say it is downright cheeky.
But in a world where everybody is looking for a side hustle, anything Arsenal seems to do the trick.
Copies of the Islington Tribune’s coverage of Arsenal clinching their first Premier League title in 22 years – and that record-busting parade which followed – have begun appearing on the online trading platform, eBay.
Bearing in mind, we offer the paper to all readers for free each week, any sale is an instant profit.
One listing shows a seller has already sold 19 copies of the parade special at £3.78 – a speedy £70 – and claims they have more than 10 more to sell. Another seller has a pair of editions for £39.50.
Perhaps our issues challenging local politicians and government figures will sell at an even bigger price. Perhaps…
Either way, we ask people just to take a copy for themselves and their families when visiting the paper dispensers each week.
