Twenty coronavirus patients have died at the Whittington
Three main hospitals for Camden and Islington have reported 67 deaths since testing began

The Whittington has publicised its death toll today for the first time
TWENTY patients with coronavirus have died at the Whittington, it was announced today (Tuesday).
The death toll is recorded since testing began and runs up until the most recent fatality this morning, a spokesman for the hospital said.
The number of deaths at University College London Hospitals was, on Monday, 24. The Royal Free in Hampstead has announced a further 11 deaths today, after announcing 12 previously.
A Whittington Health NHS Trust statement said: “We can confirm that to date, 20 patients being cared for at Whittington Hospital have sadly died after testing positive for COVID-19. Our thoughts are with all the patients’ families and friends at this time.”
The figures are for the hospital only and do not include patients being cared for by the Whittington in their homes.
A UCLH statement added: “Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patients’ families and loved ones at this difficult time.”
