Islington North MP Jeremy Corbyn

• THE last two issues of the Tribune have contained letters on who should be our next MP for Islington North.

I would like to remind readers that we already have an MP, a long-serving and dedicated one, who unfairly had the Labour whip removed.

If he is forced to stand as an independent, and he does want to continue as our Member of Parliament, I hope he trounces whichever stooge the Labour leadership foist on us as the “official” candidate.
