Jeremy Corbyn MP

• YOUR article on the Labour Party selection process (Any new Labour candidate standing in Corbyn’s constituency ‘would be a scab’, says councillor, November 24) has inspired me to write in support of our MP Jeremy Corbyn, who is a tireless advocate for all of his constituents.

North Islington votes Corbyn and has for 40 years. Why? From supporting residents with housing, benefit and immigration problems to liaising with Transport for London to clean the rails to reduce tube noise, Mr Corbyn is a problem-solver for all constituents.

He is dedicated to public service, not to feathering his own nest, in contrast to so many of his counterparts. We are lucky to have such a principled and compassionate Member of Parliament standing alongside us.
